"Absolutely amazing hotel and staff - very calm and quiet atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only one tiny annoyance was there were often kids running around and jumping in the pool making noise etc. - we believe this used to be adults only as we’re sure it was when we booked? - it’s a shame as somewhere so small and with such aspirations of honeymoon destination really should be adults only in order to get the complete tranquil experience. "The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return."
"We loved our stay at Meliti hotel, the staff was very nice, and we are already missing the wonderful view. Breakfast was lovely and different every day and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "
