"One of the top hotels in Kabale. The service given by the staff is outstanding, even by Uganda’s high standards. Good range of food on offer in the dining hall, and a great breakfast included in the price. Hotel is becoming a bit dated, but they are now in the process of updating and modernising the hotel. "The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. "

"The island is idyllic - Robert and his team provided a great service. The food was good (but wine expensive!). The swimming jetty is very rotten and the steps into the lake have disappeared so swimming is very difficult (unless you go through the mud). The cottages are different sizes and the showers vary in quality. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the slight negatives (and I am sure Robert will be on it when he reads this) we would definitely go again and stay a little longer than the three nights. "
