Beautiful hotel surrounded by flowers and vegetation, nice view. My whole family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The owner and his staff were very kind and helped us with whatever we needed. The perfect place to stay and relax. Delicious free breakfast. We definitely recommend it for couples, families, or big groups.
This place is absolutely charming, i did not want to leave, it is peaceful, calm and quiet, the staff is so friendly and helpful, met the owner who was an arqueologist, so he has collected a lot of antique items, that gives this place a special touch, we loved this place and highly recommend it!
We had a wonderfully stay! The location was perfect, we were able to walk to the town square. The staff was so sweet & attentive and their Salvadorean breakfast was delicious! The hotel itself is beautiful, the gardens are picturesque and the rooms were very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!
I cannot recommend this place enough! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Ruta de las Flores, and it was such a hidden gem.
Situated up a steep hill, the hotel feels secluded and tucked away from it all, yet is still close to everything you need. The property is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, stunning mountain views, and so much old hacienda-style charm and character. It felt very safe.
Breakfast was amazing, with a freshly prepared plato típico every morning. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Christina and Marlene were especially outstanding! Christina even taught me how to make pupusas one morning, which was such a fun and memorable experience.
After a full day of exploring, my boyfriend and I often found ourselves looking forward to returning in the afternoons to relax in the hammocks, sit outside, and listen to the rain. It was the perfect place to slow down and unwind. One evening, when we didn’t feel like going out, Marlene helped us order pupusas from her favorite spot, which was very nice.
The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, although they are a bit older. We did come across a few spiders here and there, but given that you’re staying in the mountains, it’s understandable!
Between the beautiful property, welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, and peaceful atmosphere, it was absolutely worth it!

This place had great facilites, staff and location just outside town. The only downside was that our room was loud due to the proximity to the road.
We had the biggest room, a family room with 4 beds, the courtyard was beautiful, with a lot of plants and beautiful views.
The staff are very friendly and professional and helpful, good breakfast,
The only thing is that our room window faces the road, but it's nothing that earplugs can't stop, overall a great stay.
This boutique hotel is very cute. The owner are onsite and provide good service they have fire pits at night and my kid want to roast mush mellows they provide it to us as no charge. Food included in stay nice cook to order breakfast. Very recommended this hotel.
This hotel surpassed our expectations! It was beautiful, quiet and the service was very nice, making you feel home. The sunrise was one of the most beautiful ones I have seen, from the breakfast open area and the garden with trees and birds. Highly recommend it!
Everything was great, my only issue is that the walls are a bit too thin. You can hear almost everything.
Breakfast and staff was great. Decor is classic and has a colonial feel. A bit like an Hacienda.
Our stay at Los Cuatro Olivos Hotel Boutique in the charming mountain town of Juayúa was one of the highlights of our trip to El Salvador.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, filled with lush tropical plants, antiques, and fascinating architectural details. If you love gardening, architecture, or history, this place is a treasure.
The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed lounging in hammocks and sitting on the patios while taking in the mountain views. One of our favorite memories was eating breakfast while watching the clouds drift through the mountains below us.
Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh whenever we were ready for it. The rooms were spotless, with wonderfully cold air conditioning and reliable hot water—something we quickly learned not to take for granted in El Salvador!
The location is perfect, just up the hill from Juayúa. We walked into town for dinner both nights and even rode a little red taxi back up the hill one evening.
The staff were friendly, unobtrusive, and always available when needed.
One final tip: don't leave without studying the ingenious mechanism that closes the beautiful wooden gates each night. It perfectly reflects the craftsmanship and character of this special property.
We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Los Cuatro Olivos to anyone visiting Juayúa.
We had a lovely stay at Los Cuatro Olivos Hotel in Juayúa, El Salvador. The property is a beautiful place surrounded by lush vegetation, colorful flowers, and stunning trees that create a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Cristi, the hotel concierge, truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. She prepared a delicious breakfast every morning and was incredibly kind and attentive. She always made sure our needs were met and even shared some fresh bananas and tasty green mango with us, which was a very thoughtful touch.
The rooms are small but very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which we really appreciated after long days of exploring. One small improvement would be adding a lock to the bathroom doors for more privacy.
There are dogs on the property and some stray dogs nearby; on two nights, the barking disturbed our sleep. Aside from this, we truly enjoyed our stay.
Overall, this is a charming and welcoming place, and we would gladly return in the future. Hopefully, the dog situation and the bathroom door locks can be improved.
Los Cuatros Olivos is situated perfectly on the outskirts of Juayua giving quiet and convenience. The property and rooms are clean and well-kept. The staff was tremendously friendly and accommodating.
