"First ---the charge for parking is ridiculous. Then a $50 hold on incidentals. Then after checking out I see that I have an additional $250 debit on the card I used to cover the incidentals. The room was paid through another credit card. SO I am now having to deal with a fraud claim and deal with this headache. The person at the front desk could not see the charge, But that is because it's a weekend. So someone on staff decided to enter my card number to cover something. since the bank note...

"I think your front desk staff needs training on how to talk to customers. Very disrespectful to customers and they seem they hate their jobs. But the cleanness of the rooms is excellent, ample parking space."

"Unexpected gem in Fishtown"

"This is my second time staying here. Every thing is very good - location, room, cleanliness, staff, valet parking. The hotel is basically within UPenn community; very convenient for my purpose."

"Room was fairly clean. Bed was clean & comfortable. The AC unit was a bit loud (according to my fiancé) but at least it worked! Bathroom was clean, single sink, roomy shower. Breakfast looked great, but we opted for Dunkin that is walkable from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a 90th bday party and a wedding during our stay so pretty busy but they got everything settled. Overall 9/10 would stay again."

"This is a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. We stayed only one night and if needed we could have stayed long. Next time we are in Philly we will absolutely stay there again. It’s no frills but doesn’t need to be!"

"Room - not clean, with previous guest belongings were still all over the room. Cleaners - never came 2hrs after there were scheduled. Owners - of the establishment were highly unprofessional. Urgently requesting for me to cancel/refund my reservation 2hrs after check-in bc they had double booked my reservation and would not be able to house my party of 2 for the weekend. They also specified that there were no refunds and gave me a hard time getting my refund. All in all I would not advise anyone...
