"The hotel fits the small town it sits in - small and quiet itself - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t maintained to the standards of a five-star resort. It’s private, peaceful, and surprisingly convenient for such a remote location, with a few essentials within walking distance. That alone makes it stand out compared to some nearby lodges and campgrounds. The staff - who I assume may have been the owner - was extremely helpful, and check-in/check-out was simple and smooth. The grounds are well kept, and the rooms are equally well maintained. One of the more unique touches of the property is the themed décor in each room; this time around, we stayed in the golf-themed room."

"Our toilet was not cleaned. The bowl was still dirty. The young lady running the breakfast buffet was not very helpful when we needed supplies, she was very slow at refilling the food. Other than that it was a nice stay."

"The room I reserved and paid for wasn’t available (and the hotel was definitely NOT busy). The room was filthy and in desperate need of repair. Woke up to ants crawling on the entertainment center. Take a look at the photos - not at all what was represented by Hotels.com."
