No shuttle service at the airport. Delicious chicken kurry fpr dinner. Staff made up for the problems at the neginning with no shuttle available and long waiting time at thegate.

The new management are doing a great job revamping this guest house back to the standard it used to be a few years back, I highly recommend this place

NOT NEAR THE AIRPORT - Do Not Bother

This so-called hotel is NOT anywhere near the airport in Johannesburg. It is a gated, barbed-wire compound in the middle of a neighborhood. When we arrived at 6pm, there was NO staff at reception to check us-in. They had gone for their daily shopping. The cook or gardener called them on their cell phone to return. We waited 30 minutes but no one showed up. In the meantime, one of the gardeners let me in to see a room. It was fine but we requested and booked a room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and there was one double bed with no extra room. A HUGE disappointment. We left and stayed at the Southern Sun right next to the airport. We will be asking for a refund.

It's a warm, pleasant atmosphere to be in especially the sitting room outside. Staff are friendly and attentive.
