The place is located at South Avenue within the ancient city, near to Pingyao South Gate, or 15min walking distance from Small South Gate (alternative, take buggy for 10yuan). The signage for Hongyuyuan hotel was not obvious, it is easier to find using address. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is an ancient building, do not expect perfect heating during winter. Food and massage are nearby, is very convenient. The hotel have an restaurant, the food is not bad

Very unique experience, located in the heart of the ancient city. Breakfast was not huge but very tasty and accommodated a few things for us. The staff was super friendly and some of them spoke good English. They even gave us a little present before leaving.

Hôtel typique très bien placé dans le centre historique. Accueil en anglais et gérante très sympathique. Seul bémol, matelas tres fin sur planches

Esta bien para dos noches pero hace falta reforma

La verdad que es un hotel en pleno centro y es facil moverse por aqui.. a pesar de eso el hotel esta bastante viejo y creo que le interesaria hacer una reforma y ser mas accesible La entrada del hotel parece un restaurante pero dentro esta el hotel.. no se puede llegar andando al centro es zona peatonal.. hay como 10 o 15 min andando de donde me dejo el taxista. El personal bien El personal habla chino

老闆很好，對我們很幫忙，一到就派人在南門停車場等我們，帶我們入住。我們拖著行李走古城巷子很不方便就叫遊園車幫忙運送。

Read before staying

Cute little hotel located in the touristy area of pingyao. The people spoke some English, however were very friendly and willing to help. The accomodations where we'll interesting. I knew that the room was going to be small and less then up to date, however I was no expecting the brick bed with 1/4" foam mattress on it. Non the less after 1 night of "sleep" I was in some decent discomfort. Ended up leaving 1 night early due to this.

El recibiemiento fue bueno. Llegamos a las 7:00 am y pudimos hacer el checking. La habitación grande y muy limpia. Está en la calle principal de Pingyao. Al día siguiente el desayuno no empezaba hasta las 7:30 y nosotos teníamos que irnos a las 7 y la dueña nos adelantó el desayuno a las 6:40 para que pudiéramos tomarlo. Si tendría que volver no dudaría en coger el mismo hotel.

Un "Petit Bijoux"

Arrivés vers 15h30, accueillis avec un thé "local" délicieux et un plan avec tous les explications, par la patronne qui parle très bien anglais. Découverte de la chambre typique, pleine de charme et de romantisme, qui donne sur la rue mais ce n'est pas un problème pour nous, car boule-quies pour Madame, et Monsieur aime entendre l'agitation du quartier sachant que pas de voiture dans la vielle ville. Idéalement placée prés de la porte sud, et en plein coeur de la cité, un vrai régal de sortir et de tout faire à pied! Le restaurant de l'auberge est top, nous nous sommes régalés! Avec petit déjeuner inclus dans la chambre, typiquement chinois et très bon. Rapport/Qualité prix exceptionnel.
