Rude staff.

Staff is rude and nasty. All had interaction with three people and all were unpleasant. Otherwise the hotel is located in a nice location is clean and reasonably priced.

Das Hotel hatte schon bessere Zeiten

Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig, die Zimmer relativ schmutzig (Käfer in Bett und Fussboden!), das personal ist freundlich, der Ort wunderschön.

Very disappointing.

Good location facing the local market square. The hotel is quite run down and the room (single) I stayed in very outdated. TV connection was almost non existent and the mounting of the screen made it impossible to watch from the bed. The hallway on third floor was dark - after kindly asking the receptionist every fourth bulb was lit. Breakfast buffet was not a four star hotel worthy. The bar downstairs is quite nice.

Lovely preserved old building nicely renovated.

Located in a the heart on the lovely south Bohemian city stone throw from everything you would love to see in this gem of a city. Easy to traverse on foot AND parking is under the building so no trouble with parking! Would highly recommend.

Fair place to stay for a night.

Nice hotel with good room. On the market square and close to chateau. No view from window which was disappointing as pictures show it facing the market square but all rooms are in rear of building and look out on an inner courtyard. No kettle or complimentary bottled water so have to buy all drinks. Car parking on square was fine. Good breakfast in dining room with view over square. Wouldn't want to stay longer as no cosy ambience.

In der Stadt Neuhaus ist alles gepflegt.

Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel. Ich habe hier schon einmal uebernachtet, cca vor 20 Jahren, kurz nach der Inbetriebnahme. Auch heute haelt das Personal das hohe Niveau von damals.

Disappointing

We found this to be a rather dreary hotel. The small lobby and staircase was nice but the room was pretty dingy. Staff was very cold and unwelcoming. Turning on a light in the bathroom caused a blackout in the entire room. The desk clerk seemed quite put out at having to address the problem and change the fuse. Breakfast was poor with stale bread.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, though rooms do not look over the square. Great to sit outside with a beer and watch the world. Breakfast though a disappointment - same tired offering every morning. It would have been nice to have been able to order something different.
