"Excellent location for seeing the area. Desk staff was great. Asst manager for dinner took great care of us. Disappointed in breakfast since there was not regular drip coffee available and when I wanted to take some raisins to my room I was stopped as I was leaving and told no take away!!! I guess it was better to throw them away than to let me take them to my room."

"What I loved most about the Arena Apartments: while we were only here for one night, our party of six agreed that we got a feel for what it might be like to live in the West End neighborhood. We were clearly staying in a property where some of the apartments were occupied by full time residents which added to the experience. Having a full apartment with a living area and a kitchen was what we needed (after three nights in a hotel room) and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood, finding great eating options both for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Brisbane."

"We had two separate bookings, the two bedroom apartment was dirty, the flooring hadn’t been mopped, the skirting boards and behind furniture were very dusty. The tiles on the balcony were cracked. The second room we booked had a weird smell, like the cleaners had sprayed a lot of air freshener. It was so strong it gave us a headache, we left the room with the doors open to try rid the smell. The place is a bit run down, we stayed about 5 years ago and it was amazing. Positives were that the staff were great and the beds were comfortable. "
