Jeffery’s bay is a lovely place to visit and with a few changes the Dio Dell Amore would be fantastic too as it has great views. Would say it’s a 3 star joint than a 5 from experience.

The accommodation could only be described as OTT baroque kitsch, which made it uncomfortable. The room layout was not practical and the doors to the rooms has fair amount of glass which let a huge amount of light from the passages coming through the glass at night. So a good night's sleep could not be had. The driveway leading in and out of the venue was narrow and not well lit. As we are driving out one night, we ran over a retaining wall and the tyre of our 4x4 was damaged, which resulted in us having to replace same at considerable cost. We were advised by the owner that this has occurred before, so why was the offending wall not removed or moved back or the area lit up so that this does not occur again?
