"Charming property but could be better maintained and updated a bit for modern comfort. Walls were thin...could hear everything happening in the room next door as well as on the street which made for a rough night of sleep."

"If you're looking for a unique stay in the Castro, the Hotel Castro is perfect! The rooms are cozy but very charming and perfect for 1-2 travelers. There's a grocery store right across the street, and excellent coffee shops and dining options within walking distance. If you're into nightlife, there are bars and clubs just around the corner."

"Great place. A bit noisy"

"En general el hotel esta muy bien, es un hotel aun que parece por fuera algo ya viejo sin embargo tienen buena limpieza y si vas para visitar san francisco y para dormir mas que suficiente. "The doors were way too loud to be able to sleep. The doors slam and my room was right in front of multiple bathrooms. So I had to here the door slam all night. Was able to hear and feel it through earplugs."

"Everything was great. Beds were comfortable and we had a great back yard view and balcony we enjoyed greatly. The breakfast was excellent first two days and became OK the next two days! I will definitely try to stay there on my future SF visits."

"Very atmospheric hotel, I enjoy staying there. Good location and beautiful interior."
