It was quiet clean and the gentlemen that were working were very nice. It is also right next to a gas station/convenience store. just a nice place and a great stay for us.

I had a great stay at this OYO. Had a good breakfast and the night was peaceful and comfortable. The hotel had just been purchased and there was a bit of transition going on but they were very pleasant and accommodating their guests.

I don’t usually do reviews and am old and cynical but this was a great stay. Reasonable, very clean, everything worked. Probably would not want to spend a vacation here but a great place to spend the night.

Alright

Not all the lights worked in the room. For being a place kind of out of town it was kind of noisy at night. The was no breakfast offered light the ad said.

Maybe the only hotel in Evansville. Not far from Madison (around 30 mins) but definitely worth it for the cost. Though they are short on staff the manager was very helpful and provided everything we needed.

The parking lot is lit well and feels safe. The lobby and room are very clean and well maintained. I was impressed with how clean the shower and tub are. Very happy with everything.

Staff is in her pajamas attire. Looks like she lives in the hotel. Breakfast is terrible for a grab and eat kind. No hot coffee, no napkins. Realized there’s no face towels in the room.

Fairly modern, clean facility but certainly unconventional level of services. Front desk is not always staffed - ring doorbell on desk and maybe someone will show up. No snacks, breakfast, coffee or water available. Room rate is less and most competitors and it shows. Ave size comfortable room and beds. Unsure we would return here.

No Breakfast or coffee?

There was an odor when you walked in, but not a foul odor. Nobody was at the desk an we had to push a doorbell for the lady to come to the front counter. The room was clean but you could tell it was a very old hotel and needed to be remodeled. Breakfast was included with the price. I went downstairs the next morning and the room was dark. I rang the bell and a lady came out and i asked for coffee and when Breakfast started. She told me that the refrigerator was broke. I asked for coffee and she helped me make some. I asked if i coul be discounted for not having breakfast and she offed me milk for the cereal that was on the counter. Funny that she had milk with the refrigerator broken. Anyway, i asked again for a credit for no breakfast and she said she could give something for our next stay. I wasn't from town and will never go back there.

The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean with a comfortable bed. The man at the front desk was very friendly he quickly checked us in. Later I went to the front desk because I forgot my toothbrush and he promptly provided me with one. If they had better breakfast selections such as proteins like yogurt and hard-boiled eggs and etc. they would be considered excellent. Also they offer oatmeal but no microwave in the breakfast area to heat it up. Or even hot water. I had to take it back to my room. They also have hot tea packets but again no hot water. I will definitely stay at this hotel again because after all I just need a nice quiet comfortable bed to sleep in at an affordable price. I can always go to the local diner for a good breakfast. Or stop at the Piggly Wiggly next door and bring something to my room as they do have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

This property does not exist and the new owners will not honor reservations. They were rude and did nothing to help us. We traveled 6 hours with our grandchildren and had no place to stay. This should be removed from any booking sites!

Crap show!! Had all my reservation paper work and would not honor my reservation! Said I didn’t have a room. Very rude!! Had to find a new hotel. Got charged by OYO for my 2 rooms. None of my questions were answered!! I will be writing a very bad review on line!!

Place would have been nice if our reservation was accepted Beware - do not book at this hotel Our reservation was not accepted They use to be Evansville Inn by OYO They are now a borders , yet not listed on borders website AND they have no local phone number !!! We are still trying to get refund from our reservation and I called help desk at OYO and they said they don’t have our reservation number . We were able to book a room , the last room available when we got there . But still trying to get refund from online reservation and they don’t accept any online reservations . Don’t Book ! !!!!

The clerk at the front desk couldn't understand English well enough to confirm my reservation and had to call for help. The coffee maker in our room didn't have a basket to hold the coffee pod, Also, it had left- over coffee grounds in the water reservoir, which I rinsed out. There was no coffee made for us in the lobby either morning and no water in the Keurig. I had to take the water bin to my room to get water for the Keurig in the Lobby. There were multiple dried (urine?) stains running down the back side of the bathroom door, which we didn't notice until our last morning. The bedding was clean, very peaceful, as we were the only 2 customers in the entire building for 2 days.
