Reasonable price and kind staffs

I stayed this hotel for eight nights for business trip and I think the good point of this hotel is that their breakfast is good and there is a small gym but it's OK ,,plus staffs are very kind and I think room is quiet big enough compared with its price. I didn't know this when I was at this hotel, but when my flight was cancelled and I went to S***s b***n Simatupang hotel near this hotel,,,, I realized that Mercure Jakarta Simatupang hotel is much cleaner!

Hotels in convenient and close to attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. It also offers stunning view. The check in and late check out went smooth with such efficiency and convenient process. They always served us with such warmth and friendly smiles. The restaurant offers a great varieties of food that will spoil the belly. The area of restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The staff are also attentive to our requests. The staff at the Mercure were very kind and super helpful. The breakfast was a great range and the coffee was good. The pool was not in action but the area up near the pool was a great spot to sit and watch the clouds roll through. The downside was that there was a lot of mold in the bathroom shower area, and the bathroom floors around the toilet and general area didn't seem as clean as they could be. Also, the shower was not pleasant to use - one shower head kept facing the wall and I had to hold it and the rain shower spurted everywhere.

Hotel is OK a bit run down. Found stains on the chair, and the shower tray also looks stain and worn down. Asked for extra mineral water, they said it's chargeable and I said OK, but it never came up. Bed is a bit hard as well. I guess you get what you pay for.

have been before. arrived late night - asked the desk staff for an early morning call (flight to catch). the person understood and pressed some buttons and confirmed. No one woke me - luckily i set my phone alarm. this should NOT happen

Overpriced hotel, very far from the city. Staff unreliable as they do not respect privacy (scanned my friends passport and left it on the scanner and denied having this with them, which resulted in a big discussion until another desk clerk opened the scanner and found the passport)and will try to overcharge you (recalculate conversion fees from either USD/EUR to the current day rate) despite agrees fee conversion in IDR. Restaurant is overpriced for bad quality and portion size, non-English speaking staff. Ordered a paste dish with oil and sun-dried tomatoes and received one plate with 15 pieces of penne (serious) and half of a fresh cherry tomato. No sun-dried tomato at all. Pasta was less than dente...Total rip off really and not worth visiting.

What went wrong with Mercure simatpang Jakarta

So I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been ok this time a noticable difference 1 ordered room service nothing arrived !! 2 tried to use the safe it didn’t work and it also wasn’t fixed in position so anyone could if it worked take the entire safe !! 3 yes there was a fridge but not plugged in !!!! Easy to fix just plug it in 4 tv no stations the antenna was unplugged fixed it. !!! 5 toilet hose leaked 6 parts of the sink decor damaged didn’t look great 7 sink plug didn’t work can’t hold water in sink All in all the hotel is on the decline since my last visit seems no maintenance is done 8 used the gym the treadmill works but the stop and emergency stop don’t not an issue for me but someone may get injured if they can’t stop it Probably won’t stay here again the hotel is in need of some regular maintenance I noticed that the room floor wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed during. 3 day stay ( as I had left some crumbs on the floor under the desk on day one and still there on day 3 ) And the towels had brown marks on and were not changed daily
Probably missing the point of a safe if you can run off with it !!!!!!!! But regardless it didn’t work so useless
