The staff was not around much. "Grab and Go breakfast" was bottles of OJ and packaged muffins. Room was a little "tired" though the king-size bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but serviceable.

Cozy hideaway in New Hampshire

What an amazing and quaint hideaway! We were met by friendly staff, an inviting sitting area with fireplace, and delicious hot apple cider. Check in was easy, the room was cozy, and the restaurant/lounge with live music was in an attached building. We highly recommend it!

The Whitney Inn is a charming and cozy retreat in a stunning mountain setting. Our room was perfectly equipped for a restful night’s sleep and a refreshing start to each hiking day. The on-site Shovel Handle Pub served excellent food and cocktails, and the outdoor fire pits with Adirondack chairs and complimentary marshmallows added a warm, welcoming touch.
