Newly renovated hotel and rooms. Everything worked well and air conditioning . Room kept cool when outside temperatures 100F. Location excellent, close to public transportation , shopping and sea promenade walking.
Excellent , friendly staff and management. This hotel is only 3 wks old ( opened April 2024). Breakfast is great. Convenient to everything. The furnishings and bath were stylish, and bedding/linens are very comfortable. I appreciated that they are eco-sustainability conscious, w/reduction of plastic bottles etc in toiletry products. I would stay there again. Thank you Dogan bey, Didem hanım ( mgr), and Ali bey for your excellent hospitality.
Location is not safe, picture is rather doctored, room service - service was horrible. 3600 lira and all cold and nasty no spoons with 3 soups ordered. Great view of a sweat shop next door. Noisy and right across from a police station. Staff were excellent and hotel was obviously recently redone. But would find other accommodations.
I had a delightful stay at Perla Pura Hotel, a gem that marries modern charm with refreshing renovations.
The staff were amiable, contributing to the overall welcoming atmosphere. My room was thoughtfully designed, combining modern aesthetics with all the necessary amenities, making it a perfect retreat.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes. I was particularly impressed by the pleasant scent in the lobby, which added a touch of luxury, reminiscent of a boutique hotel. It's evident that the management goes to great lengths to ensure guests have a comfortable stay.
Located in a tranquil area, with easy access to a beautiful promenade and a vast park, my two-day visit flew by leaving only pleasant memories.
Perla Pura Hotel truly stands out as an exemplary accommodation choice.
Stayed in Izmir for 3 days as a first timer, the hotel is in a convenient location, easy to walk to major attractions. Junior suite was spacious and clean, everything looked quite new. The room also included iron and ironing board, and a jacuzzi. The only downside is the AC, there is only one airway located in the walk way, but not really inside the bedroom, so it can get pretty warm, and takes a lot of time to cool down the room with the AC turned up. Also a lot of power outlets weren’t working for some reason. Breakfast buffet has a small selection and was OK, I belive it doesn’t serve lunch or dinner since it doesn’t have a kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good price for the hotel if you don’t mind the room temperature.
The hotel is new, so the facilities are intact. Howeger, managers of the hotel we're not helpful and friendly when we needed to solve an issue: a light blue dress got rust dots from the hungers. We asked for a reimbursement but they refused to compensate. Also, pillows were extremely large, and once again hotel management refused to help us by finding smaller pillows, so we couldn't sleep properly for 3 nights. The best parts of the whole stay were a friendly girl at the reception and a waiter at the breakfast. They made the whole stay somehow bearable.
I would give this hotel a solid 7.5/10. The 10/10 reviews are quite overblown. It's not the property was bad. Not at all. But it wasn't the luxury experience that the 10/10 reviews implied. The room was fine, if a bit small. The breakfast buffet was a bit small. And yes, the hotel is located in a busy area, and there is a sweatshop across the street. If you're on that side, try to keep your curtains closed. The good parts were that the metro is only a 8 - 10 minute walk away and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The air conditioning was excellent.
A one night city break with our dog. The welcome we ( or perhaps our dog received) was wonderful. A really happy short stay which we will repeat if we are in Zmir again.
Newly renovated hotel and rooms. Everything worked well and air conditioning kept room cool when outside temperatures 100F. Location excellent, close to public transportation , shopping and sea promenade walking.
We checked into Purla Pera Hotel and within a short time my partner developed a clear cluster of bites on the backs of her legs after sitting on the small upholstered chair in the room for about twenty minutes. She has had bed bug bites before and recognized the pattern immediately. The bites were only on the areas touching the chair. This strongly suggests an active bed bug problem in the furniture.
We informed the staff immediately. Management denied the possibility. A staff member also mentioned the property had been “bombed” for pests approximately 1.5 months earlier. If the hotel is still causing fresh bites this soon after treatment, the issue was not resolved.
We felt unsafe staying any longer. We grabbed our things and left to check into another hotel.
Very nice hotel and staff, but our room was extremely HOT. Even though it states there is ac it does not cool the room at all. We could not sleep of how hot it was. Also it says there is parking but this is not true. You have to look for street parking yourself.
Was charged for junior suite in this pet friendly hotel who initially told us our 20kg Shy Husky was too large. Finally they agreed to take us with an additional £20 for the dog and a £250 deposit in case my sweet dog destroyed anything. They downgraded us to a standard double without informing us then refused to refund the difference. I then ask for the £20 dog charge back as they already overcharged us for the room supplied. I had to stress my point for 15 minutes before them agreeing to give back £10 of dog charge. I wasn’t accepting that and finally had to agree to no breakfast before getting my £20 back. Needless to say the room was perfect the next morning therefore our £250 deposit was returned. The staff were embarrassed and so sweet however the manager was a horrible man. Safe to say he ruined our stay and we won’t be back.
