We had a wonderful stay at the Barceló resort. The atmosphere was nice, quaint, and very quiet, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and spoke some English. Carlos at the concierge desk was amazing!! Very helpful with lining up taxi's for daily touring. and also with getting us ready for departing to the airport. Food was good, the special restaurants were very good. They really stepped it up this year with the desserts! Love that they have the ice cream machine. This is our 5th year staying there, amazing views, we will be back!!

An overall good but older resort which had some quirks. Our bathroom had a constant sewer smell despite multiple cleaning/maintenance requests. Not a fancy room but mostly clean otherwise. The food was good with decent variety. The restaurants that you book al-la-carte were even better. Beautiful beach with small waves, easy for swimming.
