"The hotel was situated in a beautiful and quiet location. We chose the room with a river view, which was lovely. However the room was quite stuffy and we did try to open the window to cool the room down but it was still warm, it didn’t have an air-con setting. Also my bed was quite soft so the topper kept moving about as it was quite light so it made for an uncomfortable sleep. This has only happened in this hotel and I have stayed in 7 different hotels and I have no complaints with the other beds. As the hotel charged for parking, we parked in the car park in front of the hotel and left before 8am. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant hotel - Restaurant Ellen . Food was delicious. Highly recommend it."

"1) Great breakfast 2) Dinner was included, and even though we walked down the street to a nearby restaurant, we stopped by when we came back and had waffles (Norwegian style)for dessert, very nice thank you. 3) terrific value, we would definitely stay here again."
