"Clean, nice staff, walking distance to the beach"

"Quick easy check in. Lovely room, but please dust the window areas, had a bit of a collection of dead bugs in the sill. Also the beds are quite uncomfortable. Beautiful view, lovely amenities."

"The Front desk staff who checked us was very knowledgeable and kind. The property was clean but didn't have enough handicapped parking close to the entrance of the lobby. The eating area was very clean. The elevator was mostly clean. There was no eggs or proteins of any sort served for breakfast. The toilet seat was loose. And the tub felt unstable."

"We’ve been coming to OC for 25+ years and have stayed at The Hampton Inn ever since they opened. We always get our preference of a bay room, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We were a little apprehensive with it being a pet friendly hotel but there were no issues. We appreciate the fact that they have already remodeled when the hotel isn’t really that old. Pretty bummed though that the tiki bar has been removed 😔."

"The property was in great location to the beach (which was the selling point). Walk right out of your hotel and your toes are touching the dunes. The front desk wasn’t very helpful answering questions relating to nearby areas and left out that you can shuttle to their sister property (Aloft) which seemed to be in much better condition. "This area of the boardwalk can be shady at night but if you are about the pool and beach its perfect! The staff made it for us. Flora left us towel animals and she was the sweetest."
