Fantastic experience at a great price!

Wonderful property and staff. Instructions and directions were clear. Property was easy to find and in great location at a terrific price. Within 20 minutes of Yellowstone, restuarants, and shops. Safari tent was nice with comfortable beds and bedding. Nights were chilly but plenty of blankets were provided that kept us perfectly warm. Staff is friendly and helpful and work hard to keep the property in great condition. Bathrooms were clean and stocked and plenty of towels provided. Loved our stay, would definitely stay again when back in the area.

Lovely stay other than unreliable hot water (I think they were working on this), really nice location not far from the west entrance of Yellowstone. Beds are super cozy!

We would stay here time and time again. I love that we got the camping experience without all the stress of packing/setting up/putting away camp gear! The beds and linens were so comfortable. Staff was super nice and even got a fire going after a big storm. Loved it and wk recommend to all our friends!

Maddie was very welcoming at check in, she made sure we got bear spray, (just incasd) and Towels to shower with. The nught was peaceful and the stars were amazing! We loved the mountain air. The morning we left. BLAKE got my attention and showed me aome moose, and he let me get my daughter so she could see them, sleeping not to far away from our yurt! If you love sleeping under the stars, i recommend this place.

Great experience! There were no stores nearby, so bring your water/snacks. Also, bring some chairs if you want to spend time outside your tent. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were wonderful.

Family teepee was a good size, clean and well stocked with blankets. Staff was great and the bonfire with smores was fun. Cornhole, tether ball and swings were fun. Restrooms and showers were clean and there were a good number of them. Great experience!

We stayed in a family Bell tent and it was awesome, best beds of our 19 days of travel. Star gazing through the ceiling windows, flowers out the front door. The community fire gave us connection & conversations plus s’mores, delightful. Thank you staff.

Charming. Very clean. Mattresses felt brand new and so comfy. There was so much going on and things to do at the campground, my kids never once complained about the lack of electronic use. Of our 8 day road trip, this was our very favorite night.

Nice but overpriced

The place was nice The room was good and clean But the whole campground using the same toilets and bathroom which arent the cleanest and i had to drive my kids there overtime they need toilet or bathroom (cold and dark at night) Ny real issue was the price for value they charge more then hotel but giving me a facilities of camping

Tent and beds were great! Really enjoyed the atmosphere! Met great people at the campfire! The bathroom and shower trailer accommodations were subpar and not sufficient for the amount of people staying. 2 out of 3 shower attempts there was no hot water. These were not during peak times (one late at night and one early morning). Improve these accommodations and its a 5star!!!

Our stay at Starlight Retreat—it was hands down one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a peaceful vibe that instantly made us feel at home. The Tent We stayed in one of the Safari Tents, and wow—this was not camping. It was luxury in the woods. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I slept better than I do at home), and the decor was rustic yet stylish. We had electricity, cozy lighting, and even a little sitting area to enjoy our morning coffee. The Setting The location is unreal. You’re surrounded by pine trees and open skies, and at night, the stars are breathtaking. We watched the Milky Way stretch across the sky—no light pollution, just pure magic. The People The staff were amazing. And the bathrooms…definitely not what I expected! Much better! Felt like I was in a normal restroom! Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a place that blends nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality, this is it. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our next trip back. Starlight Retreat isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect with nature and yourself.

The property was nice overall. The staff were very nice snd very cooperative. The tents were nice and cozy. There is just one thing that beeds to be inproved is the number of bugs in the tent. There were like a 3 dozen spiders so need to do somethig avout that. The bedding was great. The tents were spacious. There was nice common bonfire area for everyone to sit and chat and do different activities which was very nice. The bathrooms were well maintained and there was abundant hot water for showers as well. The location was also nice and close to shopping areas maybe a 8 to 10 minute drive All in all i would rate the experience at 4 out of 5.

This was a great, unique stay for us. We loved the family size tent and it was very comfortable. The inside of the tent was set up very nice and had a cozy feel. The area was beautiful, and we would visit again.

A great ‘camping’ experience

If you want a camping experience but you get to sleep in a real bed, this is it. Plus for a camping-like situation, the bathrooms are AMAZING. The nightly s’mores make this a winner too!

Great blend of roughing it & glamping

This stay was almost as good as it could be for what it is - creature comfort mixed with an actual camping experience. We got a safari tent for our family of 5. Cons: Toilet trailers were busy and at times overflowing (staff did address). Dirt roads were extremely bumpy and need filled. Pros: A great camping experience with less work. The beds were super comfy and solar power to charge phones is great. Feeling off off grid without losing main comforts major plus. We only stayed one night but I have 0 regrets on our choice and we camp both in our camper and plenty of tent camping experience.
