"This Hotel is one of the best, Pet friendly, we got a beach bag with a bowl, Snacks, bags for our dog. I love the pool, bar and food. The rooms are comfortable but it need a little extra cleaning, I told one of the staff what was dirty and they cleaned right away.. but fabrics, Sofa and Pillows need extra Steaming. Apart from that we are coming back. "

"This was the perfect spot right on the beach with lots of action steps from the room- parasailing, jet skis, etc. great pool, several spots to eat and drink. Served our family of 4 great for 5 nights. Would return again. "

"Fairly nice place. Prices higher than normal, Very long halls, especially if your room is at end. Nice area, close to beach. "

"Pool at Captiva was not heated so made for a cold swim. Couch in our room was very uncomfortable and tv connection was not great."

"Unfortunate because we had higher hopes for this stay. We walked in to check in close to 7 pm, needing to get checked in and ready for a dinner reservation with family from out of town. I walked in the lobby and NO ONE. Literally no one showed up, I yelled multiple times and no one showed up. I stood there for OVER 20 minutes until the lady came in. I let her know I had been waiting that long and was late for dinner with family. She snarkily responded “Well theres other guests in the hotel and I had to fix a TV.” I’ve never in my life stood in a lobby alone for over 20 minutes unattended. Very excessive. Also the phone rang multiple times unanswered…great customer service. Shame on La Quinta for not giving them proper support to run a nationally recognized hotel. So we get our room and the rooms are fine, for the most part. Our kid couldn’t take a bath because there’s no stopper for the bathtub. Then we tried to call the front desk, phones in the rooms are non-operational. So I searched the location on my Apple Maps and hit the call button…guess what you connect to? A phone sex company who greets you with “if you want to talk to hot girls, press ***” This is ridiculous. We noticed another guest left their car door open wide open at night so I went to the front desk to report it. The gentleman there was nice enough but you could tell they clearly don’t support the desk. Hot tub was also broken, was never told that. They never once apologized for anything. Zero accountability. "
