It is really hard to describe what this was like. The basin was super flat and miles long. It has thousands upon thousands of salt features. The heat is just oppressing and I think due to how quiet it is you can actually hear the heat come off the salt.

"Very nice classic hotel with beautiful gardens in the center of Death Valley. The building is very well maintained with mid-century period decor and our room was large and comfortable. The spring fed pool is always 80deg and there is a convenient sauna but no hot tub, unfortunately since it’s cold when sun sets. Probably the best place to stay in Death Valley. "
