"This was a great place to stay if you are doing the Cabot Trail. Staff were friendly. Rooms were a good size. Hotel is showing its age but wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. Overall positive experience with a great view right outside our door."
"Cute place to stay to start a Cape Breton Tour. We overnighted here before a golf trip at Cabot Links.
Our chalet was very functional and cozy.
The dinner and live music were excellent and fun!
Check out was slow and inconvenient- staff have multiple duties that slowed things down."
"The Fiddle and the Sea BnB was great. The room was very clean and spacious. My room had a private bathroom. It was a quiet place. The breakfast had a set menu, but it was very good and had a few options like the kind of toast you wanted and a choice of beverage. Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. I noticed homemade cookies in our room, some chocolates. A coffee maker with different kind of coffees or tea was a nice convience. There's a few restaurants near. The other thing that stands out is the short slide show presented after breakfast about the area, and the owner plays a couple of songs with his fiddle. A very nice touch and its not over done. Thank you to The Fiddle and the Sea BnB! We had a great time, and loved out stay at your BnB. I would recommend!"
"It is a beautiful property, but there were issues. No hot water , no telephone and the tv didn’t work. Hot water and tv problems were fixed with a phone call, but shouldn’t have been an issue."
"Very cute little rustic cabins. No tvs which was awesome. Beautiful scenery with horses, some cows and even a donkey.
A property with tons of character, a little off the path but well worth the drive.
Thanks Dave and son 👍"
"I stayed here for a total of 2 weeks separated into 2 blocks for the conclusion of my work project in Cheticamp. The cottage is very cozy the bed is that perfect level of comfort. It is a cottage so expect to encounter flies from time to time; that's just par for the course. Angela the owner is a very kind person and great to chat with! Highly recommend visiting the local Coop and snagging a mini propane cylinder and some grilling meat and enjoy your evenings on the front porch grilling up a delicious feast along with a cold one!"
