Good stay
Hotel was clean room was fine for the price. You could tell it was a chain. Very functional. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
Without question, this was the worst hotel I've stayed in, in years.
There was no manager on duty when we arrived (late afternoon - certainly not off-hours), so one of the bartenders had to check us in - and she seemed put out by it.
The room had not been cleaned properly; there was a *USED* condom in the bathroom!!!!
And, the drain in the *tiny* shower stall didn't work.
Again; no manager to be found, so I had to deal with another rude bar server again. They took care of removing the condom and said they'd have the manager fix the drain but we stayed there two nights and no follow up from anyone about the drain.
When it came time to order a meal, we selected something specific from the menu, only to have something entirely different come out. The server rudely insisted that this was absolutely what we'd ordered. When we pushed back and said it wasn't, she said fine, she'd go fix it to what we wanted and then walked off...leaving the question; if she was going to 'fix it to what we wanted', then she knew she'd brought the wrong food out in the first place.
Location is "ok"; quiet and all, but not very close to downtown where the sights and scenery are.
Parking is almost non-existent, as the bar patrons fill up the small parking lot, leaving not much available for those staying overnight.
Avoid this hotel at all costs!
Staff was very willing to chat and very charming.
Food was excellent in pub as well as in restaurant.
Walkable to Castle, shopping center.

We were much happier with our 2nd visit. The room was cleaner and better appointed. The noise at night was also lessened. The mattress was much better in this room.
The hotel was absolutely charming. The pub was cozy with a fireplace. The people were very friendly and helpful. In fact almost all the people we met in Scotland were the friendliest, most helpful people we've ever met.
Wonderful hotel in a great location just a few minutes walk to city center. Was a few hours early for check in and they accommodated my early check in. Wonderful friendly staff

Disliked: Room comfort
Check in was unusual. No central area to check in. The mattress was lumpy and quite terrible to sleep on.There was a lot of traffic noise at night. Breakfast was good.
Hotel is very close to town, but also features a bar and restaurant of its own which is very convenient! The staff was very accommodating, especially when we requested an early check-in. Quiet neighborhood spot with a friendly feel!
good location. room quite small but very clean. short walk to centre of town. breakfast fine. fairly basic

Fine stay, but noisy and no WiFi.
Room was fine, staff fine. Hotel very noisy, loud banging doors. We were in room 8, it had no WiFi and is advertised to have WiFi. It was very inconvenient for us as we had a two day run up to our wedding with no internet at all. We booked the hotel as we needed WiFi.
This place is located between 3 roads but we heard no traffic noise. The staff were great as we checked in late bar staff took us up to room ect. Room was compacted but had everything and more you needed. Everywhere was spotless and breakfast was lovely and so was bar meals. Staff were very friendly top marks for the whole stay.
Except for the very noisy neighbors in the room next to us, everything was great.
Room was as expected, warm with everything needed.
Staff attentive and friendly, we had a lovely evening in lounge part next to the wonderful stone fireplace, followed in the morning by a peaceful and nice breakfast.
Definitely recommend it!
One night stay and first time here. Hotel was above bar and restaurant where I ate dinner which was excellent and great value. Open plan log fire was welcoming on a cold winter night. Service was excellent and the room very clean and a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again the price included breakfast which was excellent and vey filling.

Great location.Best Steak Sandwich Ive ever had.Great breakfast.Staff fantastic.
Superbe location pour visiter le centre d'Inverness. À 15 minutes à peine de Culloden, que nous avons adoré. Bon resto, bon service, nous y retournerions sans hésiter.
Accommodations are what you might expect in an American motel but staff were friendly and helpful. PS wifi only available in public areas--not so great if you want to surf the web. I would not stay here again.
Good value when all around are much more expensive
Stayed here when my usual group of hotels had all bumped their prices up massively to capture the tourists.
Very good value for money with good food would definetly stay again
