"Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....

"Course Glas House was very conveniently located for our activities in the area!! When I first walked into the building, there was a strong mold odor. But, when I entered my room, there was no smell of mold. Our room was very clean and breakfast was EXCELLENT!!! Morven and Simon made a great team and took very good care of us!!"

It has all the conveniences of a hotel and a hostel... centrally located in the highlands for those passing through and yet also geared for folks who are tromping through the hills. Loved it! Allan, the proprietor, is a terrific host. He's built in kitchens, a lounge, washers and drying rooms. I hope to come again to hike the hills!"
