However our room in the attic of floor 3 and lift only went to floor 2, which made it slightly difficult to move luggage. Room was slightly dated and small. Bathroom was very cramped. Traditional cute hotel

Gorgeous hotel, it was hot (and smelt like a sauna due to the wooden room :) ) when we arrived at midnight, but it had massive windows to open. Had a junior suite I think, with 2 bedrooms, living area & big bathroom. Only downside would have been a kettle/drinks, but everything else was great, with a lovely breakfast spread

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. From the ornate exterior to the finely furnished hallways and bedrooms wrought in finely carved wood. Against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains and the quaint village of Zirl, this hotel is a must if you’re in the area. Plus, the in-house restaurant, Restaurant Maximilian, was absolutely exquisite—Try the beef tartare, treat yourself!

Stayed one night on 10/12 traveling from Cortina to Munich. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel, the full service restaurant, and the overall location in the Zirl valley. This hotel is an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Innsbruck.

Amazing location!

I decided to book this for an impromptu trip, and I was not disappointed! Wonderful from the moment I walked into the door until I left. There is a restaurant onsite, which is very tasty. The views from the rooms are to die for. The only thing I can think of that was even slightly negative (which it really wasn't) was the bed was a little more firm than I am used to. Some people might enjoy that - it just took me a night to adjust to compared to my bed at home. I am already looking to book again for a family trip!

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Zirl on way to Innsbruck. Bus station was within eady walk and ran regularly but check return times as ours stopped at 18:30 😲. Also to note restaurant was not open Mondays and Tuesdays. Hotel staff were really friendly, breakfast was perfect for us. Very traditional which was what we were looking for. Would recommend.

The facade is unimposing, but the inside of the rooms are wonderful. Wooden floors, large windows, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, good curtains, and we never heard anyone else our entire stay. We loved it! The staff was always polite and pleasant. The drive up to Seefeld slopes was always easy and about 15 minutes. We would certainly return!

The property staff is excellent. There is no real dining available at the property except for Breakfast. Plus it is not available on Monday and Tuesday as the restaurant is closed. There is another restaurant directly opposite one block which provides Italian cuisine mainly and is open till 9 pm for the last kitchen order. The room provided was nice but claustrophobic with minimal ventilation and a small sit out with no view and could not be opened. We liked the quaint location and the very helpful and friendly receptionist.

I found this hotel to be exactly what I wanted. We wanted the ease and walk ability of a hotel with a bar/restaurant attached, as well as the quiet of a smaller town. The views are beautiful and everyone was very accommodating. The bed was slightly softer than I usually prefer, and the heat was cranked way up but I like firm mattresses and run warm so normal people probably enjoyed those features haha

A good choice for us

This hotel has been perfect for our stay at Carpigiani Gelato U. Reasonable prices, clean, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast with a lot of variety including fresh fruit & vegetables. There is air conditioning but it is not very cool even on the high setting. We are from the US and I usually find the air conditioning in public spaces to be too cold. I think for me I prefer something in the middle of here and there!

Cozy Tirolian/Austrian Home Vibes

Stayed for 4 nights during April. Very nice room with a view of the mountains (upgraded from single to double for free without asking). Cozy and comfortable rooms and beds. Very clean (even the balcony). There is a safe with enough space and it is easy to set up. Shower pressure could be better. All staff was very friendly and accommodating and spoke English and German fluently. Highly recommend the restaurant for lunch/dinner. Breakfast selection was a little underwhelming in options, but what was offered was fresh and the restaurant was neat and tidy. They give you a lot of coffee (your choice of fresh or machine) and you need to tell them if you want less! Scrambled eggs made fresh on request. Bus is right next to the hotel and easy to get during most hours of the day, for very late night/early morning travel the train station is about 20min by walk through mostly flat roads with amazing views of the mountains. Highly recommend the stay here for a very Tirolian/Austrian cozy home vibes!
