Construction made finding the entrance harder. In pedestrian zone so need to wheel bags a bit, but very convenient for seeing the old town and funicular train and cable car to top of Innsbruck. Rooms huge and very comfortable. Like themes with historic people who stayed there in the past.

At our arrival there was an issue with noise in the room due to some maintenance work being done in the property. That last with also a misunderstanding regarding the information provided on the website about that work, made us to ask for a room change. The very professional and helpful staff in the reception, and specially Daniela, came up with a solution for us very satisfactory. We couldn’t be happier and for sure we will come back and book in the Goldener Adler in our next visit to Innsbruck.

Right in the middle of town, you can see the snowy mountains from the window, clean, efficient, walk to the entire old town, friendly and apart from the fact that the room was tiny but this is typical of europe, not much to complain about.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient to tourist sites. The hotel was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked, and the room was spacious. The hotel is steps away from shopping, restaurants, and tourist activities. They parked our car for us (for a fee), and we walked almost everywhere. The staff is extremely friendly, down-to-earth, and professional. Breakfast is on-site, and dinner is served in the restaurant next door (can still charge it to your room). Little perks like turn-down service, a piece of chocolate, and a bottle of water every night. I cannot say enough about this property. Absolutely zero complaints. It was perfect. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. This hotel is now one of our all-time favorites.

Shopping is immediately accessible in a lovely pedestrian only area. The Golden Roof is 1 min away and ski access to many slopes is easily accessible by bus. An overall excellent choice and location. I would stay here again!
