Amazing German hospitality with Scandi design

Wonderful location, very helpful staff and a beautiful hotel. Highly recommended. Buffet breakfast was cereal, bread, cold cuts cheeses, fresh fruit along with some eggs, sausage and/or ham each morning. Excellent produce and plentiful.

The hotel is attractive and modern. It is well placed and the old city is within walking distance. A bakery is directly across the street and supermarkets are nearby. The underground parking garage is open and anyone could drive in there, so it is not very secure. It was not clean and the same trash was laying around for the whole time we were there (4 nights). They also charged 10€ per night for using it which we found to be terribly overpriced. The reception and check in were friendly and we were given an upgrade (presumably because the hotel was relatively empty). Upon arrival, the room was clean if somewhat dusty. The room was straightened up daily, but not properly cleaned. The empty tissue box was not refilled and neither was the extra toilet roll. The bathroom and toilet were cleaned daily, but the towels were not changed even when they were on the floor. An electric kettle is provided and a bottle of water without gas (most likely tap water), but we had to wash the cups and glasses ourselves otherwise they remained dirty. We complained to the manager on the third day and he promised to ensure that the room gets cleaned properly. That evening, the towels had been changed, but the floor had not been vacuumed, the toilet roll and tissues were still empty and the glasses and mugs had not been washed. We complained again at check out and the manager passed it off as the sloppy work of their cleaning company. He did not offer any type of compensation.

Very impressed

The hotel was great, it is located on a waterway and near several markets. The room and all the facilities were clean and staff were willing to assist with any questions we had. Just a short walk over the bridge to get to the city center and perhaps 500m to an amazing pool facility.

It is a very up date hotel. Decoration is modern and clean. Rooms are spacious, with great windows. Bathroom is new style, the only sugestión is to install a door or curtain by the shower entrance. Highly recommended. Breakfast the best!

It started with us waiting in the parking garage for 10 minutes, ringing the door bell about 15 times until finally someone let us in. Front desk was without staff most of the time whe i walked by. Restaurant and bar was closed. Left company details the night before so the person was able to prepare the invoice. Of course nothing was prepared when i chekced out. Over all the downer was the inattentive staff for me. Rooms ok, breakfast too. No refrigerator nor minibar in the room. No drinks to purchase.

Hotel war so einigermaßen, Frühstück war nichts!!

Das Einchecken war sehr nett, das Zimmer sauber mit Blick Innenhof, die Heizung war defekt, deshalb 19,4°, nach Reklamation habe ich ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, mit Blick auf Altmühl, da es aber schon Dunkel war, hatte ich nichts davon. Die Heizung ging auch hier nur bis 22,4°! Also von schön warm konnte man nicht sprechen. Morgens um 07:00 bei Frühstück, war es bereits so voll, und von Büffet so leer und abgeräumt, es waren keine Tische abgeräumt, es wurde nichts mehr nachgelegt, das geht garnicht !!! Schon garnicht für den Preis des Frühstücks.

Naja…

Gläser im Zimmer dürften gerne einmal den Geschirrspüler besuchen. Zimmertemperatur bei mind 21 Grad Celsius wäre wünschenswert. Die Klimaanlage scheint den Geräuschen nach durch einen kleinen Dieselmotor betrieben zu werden. Milch für Kaffee bitte regelmäßig auf MHD prüfen! Gebrauchte Gläser bitte nicht im Frühstücksbrötchenkorb abtransportieren sondern auf einem Tablett! Hotelinfo auf dem Zimmer wäre fein. TV war nicht funktionsfähig.
