"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. "Totally over priced for the quality received. Paying over 300 eur a night for a “holiday apartment”, one expects more. At minimum better beds than two separate ones for parents + sofa bed for the kids. The parent’s bed had some weird hospital like rubber cover under the linen, making a very uncomfortable sleep. Interior finish and furniture very low cost. Sound insulation bad, we could hear all the noises from the other rooms. Shower’s water pressure low or even non-existing if somebody...

"The property is nice with children to walk around, play and see animals. Unfortunately when we were there the SPA and Sauna were closed. It will be nice if the property posts the operation hours for sauna and SPA. There is also a small museum of tractors on side. You need to ask at the reception for them to open the door."
