"The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the pool, they gave me towels for both pool and beach, free bottled water everyday, it was just so convenient! As for the room, I got the King with the “Gulf View”. It was actually a full view of the parking lot and if you go to the corner of the balcony, you might be able to see the Gulf through the palm trees. So if you’re thinking of paying extra, understand the view isn’t much of a Gulf View at all. Also, they only have USB charging outlets. So, I had to walk across the street to Walgreens to buy a USB charging cord. Room not very updated, in my opinion. It also didn’t have a full body length mirror. Odd for a resort, I thought."

"The hotel was great! The gratuities are added on your checks! Beware because they aren’t very open about that when you go there. We ordered to drinks and our bill was 30.00 and then we also saw a bar fee of almost 3 more dollars! I understand we are at the beach but the 3 wasn’t even on our check I don’t know where it came from. By the way parking is 40.00 a day plus tax!!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. My room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. You can tell they truly care about providing a great experience for their guests. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with excellent customer service. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable!"

"Great hotel, actually built on the property (the Tropicana) where I once ran an art gallery. Sadly, nobody working there, despite the plaque right outdoors, knew anything about the property or its history. Two things. The bar is a wasteland, which is a shame, because it’s clean, attractive and should be buzzing, especially during the World Cup. A number of folks at breakfast (which is great!) were looking for someplace to watch the game(s). None of them were going there. The second thing is small. Please put magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms."
