Stay was fine. The staff was appropriate at check in and check out but some of the other guest looked sketchy at best and I hated that dogs roamed the hallway. I would not stay here again. It's true, you get what you pay for!

The front staff were amazing. They answered all my questions and fulfilled my hotel needs/request. The rooms are updated and well kept. Will definitely stay again when in Independence, KS.

The property is clean and staff friendly and helpful. My concern came up when the door to the room was propped open and trash was still in the room. I went back to the front desk and The staff came and spent time cleaning in the bathroom though did not see what they had to do. Not sure what i can trust was clean but had to sleep

Rarely do I elect to stay at a Super 8 but this one was good! Parking easy and it was quiet with no issues. I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice.

Very clean, very nice staff, comfortable bed, my only complaint is we were in the very closest room to the check in desk which wouldn’t have been and issue but there were so many people being loud outside of our room until about 4 am!

I reserved the room over Expedia and provided all credit card into. But when at Super 8 in Independence, Ks I had to provide all of that information again. Was in room 228. The facility is 2 story but there was no elevator, only stairs, very surprised to see that. TV remote in the room did not work, had to go to front desk to get another one. New TV remote would not bring up the Guide, did not work.. Went back to front desk and they said to push 02 for guide, which worked, but there was no instruction as to do that so had to go to front desk. No coffee maker in the room. Toilet flushed very slowly. I would not stay at this property again. I would rate it as a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale.

Job Interview Trip

Very Comfortable, Clean and staff was very friendly. Air Conditioning definitely struggled in that Kansas heat, our room was warm during the day with the AC running but the early mornings and overnight were perfect. I have stayed her many times as I am an avid hunter but then again that’s in the fall/winter months. So this was different to expertise the heat, but none the less, still had an enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again.

The room felt nicely cleaned upon arrival. I found it odd that most of the customers appeared to be in one end of the hotel. (making it a little noisier when sleeping under an occupied room). Breakfast and lobby area quite nice. Pleasant interaction with the desk attendant upon check in. It felt safe, and I had no concerns about the vehicle. The parking lot area behind the hotel for trucks was in a bit of desrepair. The AC worked nicely, and we slept comfortably.

Had a good stay. Convenient parking but no elevator. Being 65, I had difficulty with getting my Coleman ice cooler up the stairs. When checking in, I asked the person who was checking me in that I preferred a ground floor room and after several minutes of waiting, I told him that I would take the room on the second floor. I had stayed at the same hotel before and had a ground floor room.
