Numerous added touches that made the stay especially memorable — Christmas morning “stocking” filled with fruit, nuts and tea canister’” traditional Scottish food menu items along with many other choices, excellent housekeeping service (phone charger cords neatly tied up with a hotel tie), lovely afternoon tea and Christmas dinner. "The Kimpton Charlotte Square was the perfect place to spend Christmas week in Edinburgh! The staff were incredibly pleasant and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. "Fab hotel. Easy to get to from Princes street tram stop (prepare for an uphill walk and steps, we took the step free route on the way back!). Room was perfect for my 11 year old and me. Views of the castle from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were great. Use of pool and sauna in the sister hotel 1 minute down the road was an added bonus. Loved this hotel. "
