"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. "The pub was supposed to close at 10pm but we heard bad karaoke signers past midnight. Service was very bad. The good news is that I reserved only for one night."

"Everything was great. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is very well organized and maintained. It is also an excellent choice for families with children, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to other travellers."

"Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The decoration of the whole venue is incredible with so much to look at. There is a lot of car spaces but the area is very busy so it’s a bit of a search to find one."

"Lovely place to stay, convenient for town and for visiting Dorsey County Hospital which was my main reason for visiting Dorchester."

"Wonderful location, good dining options and lovely sized clean room"

"Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged."

"Fantastic one might stay for a wedding. Huge room and bathroom, tea and coffee and Tv in the room. Super clean and friendly owner. Excellent breakfast all freshly cooked along with cereals and fruit. Parking on site and easy walking to the town. Will definitely go back."

"Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown."

"Excellent all around and lovely staff"
