"Attractive old house close to seafront. I had to share a bathroom, but as the house wasn't full this didn't present a problem."

"The setting is perfect, overlooking Freshwater Bay, and the hotel has been beautifully restored. Everywhere feels very spacious and comfortable. The staff are lovely and clearly wanted us to have a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. They dealt with my irritating dietary requirements with concern and professionalism and were all friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back."

"This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped."

"Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. My single room was nicely spacious."

"Absolutely awful. Dont care how desperate you are, DONT BOOK HERE! Seaguls nesting outside your security locked window (you can open the window two inches). The smell coming from the outside of the room from bird mess was over powering. If your on the second floor the heat in the room unbearable. The 2 inch dust on the curtains and the black dots throughout the bedding, makes you sleep with your clothes on. Ive requested a refund, but it takes 10days for someone to get back to you.
