"Assigned a room with sheets that were not changed after the last guest and were dirty. Offered to change them and there were no clean sheets because washer wasn’t working. Plug for the tv wouldn’t even reach an outlet. Changed rooms. Lights not working. Tub was dirty. Ants on the breakfast serving table. Breakfast consisted of waffle, honey buns, and cereal. No pool or hot tub as advertised. AC wasn’t working properly"

"The room was not ready. I checked in and received a key and went to my room - to find housekeeping and an open door. (The cleaner told me the man who checked me in thought a traveling nurse made the reservation and I didn’t look like one, he gave me a different room. He thought someone else was still coming for the other room. The one that I reserved and that WAS ready for me.) She seemed to have just started but said she’d only be a few minutes. After maybe 10 minutes, she went to get a vacuum but came back with a key to the room next door to give me instead. It had been cleaned but they had sprayed so there were dead spiders literally everywhere. She decided to just vacuum the original room and have me stay in there. I generally use the tub to soak a lot while I’m there so I asked for a room with a tub that didn’t leak. The tub did have a slow leak and it was not properly cleaned. I used my face wash and body wipes to scrub the bottom and sides out, all to have the water leak out along with my geranium oil. They helped me with a make shift seal but it was a still a hassle. **The previous manager retired** and it’s very obvious they need better help. This small motel was a stand out bc it was always very clean and things were done right. If that changes, they won’t last. "

"I booked Tuesday to Thursday to arrive early Wednesday to have a place to hang before I had to work a night install for work. Even though I paid in full they cancelled my reservation without even contacting me. Again I paid up front in full. Then they tried to charge me and said I would have to book another room. Then tried to charge me a cancellation fee for a reservation I didn’t even cancel. Expedia customer service had to call them to get me a refund. Messed my whole week up."

"This is our hotel of choice when visiting our kid at college. Staff are friendly, place is clean. Will continue to visit when we are in town. Highly recommend it!"

"Please be advised that this property collects a $50 deposit in CASH only. You have to show them a receipt when you check out, and they will go and check on the room before refunding the cash. The $50 deposit was mentioned on the Expedia listing when I booked, but it did not indicate that only cash would be accepted. It would be good if Expedia clarified this in the listing because this is very backwards in 2026. Parking was good at this location. The air conditioning and heat worked fine. We had issues at times getting hot water, causing us to skip showers for a night while we were there."
