"The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was to much trouble.
Could do with a lift it’s a long way up stairs with cases to the very top floor"

"Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure."

"We were visiting the Holmfirth Vineyard and were able to access the parking at 10:00 even though check-in wasn't until 15:00.
Staff were helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent."

"Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax).
Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field.
Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus.
We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer."

"Our room was very dated and run down, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shower leaked everywhere, plaster peeling and damp and mould all over. The £120 room only per night was far more than it’s worth. The bar is nice and the food is reasonably for a pub, it’s not a restaurant. Location is good and has parking which is rare for Howarth."
