The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous, but the rooms need SERIOUS work. When we first checked in we checked into a dirty room. We called & they gave us a different room, but the room in general was just old, dingy & gross. There was plans to renovate the rooms posted downstairs, and that needs to come ASAP. I would not stay here again until they renovate.

Beautiful open atrium tons of sunlight and windows. The hotel staff was kind enough to bring a small mini fridge to the room for us. The only thing missing is a pool bar during the summers to enjoy the pool.

The main restaurant was closed during hours that were posted they should be open. They told us to go to the bar to order food, but the seating was limited there. They only offered the breakfast buffet on Sunday instead of letting people order off the menu as well. It was a shame that with such a nice open seating area that was bright and comfortable you really couldn't eat there. We ended up just leaving the property and spending the money else where. The floors in the rooms looked like they hadn't been swept or vacuumed before we got there. There was hair everywhere. Looks like the carpet needs to replaced or get deep cleaned. We wore our shoes inside the room at all times.
