This stay was better than my last one at The Arlington. The bathroom I had this time was cleaner though the caulk in the shower was still moldy. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was very quiet. I always appreciate how centrally located the hotel is to the trails, bathhouses, and some really awesome food. I’m excited to see that remodels are underway as they are greatly needed. We will be back again soon.

On a positive note, it was cool that they had a live band on friday and saturday night. The buffet was ok. The history is charming, but the hotel felt very dingy and dirty and there is absolutely no soundproofing for the rooms.

The staff were great and helpful. The room and pools were worn down and need renovating badly. Our shower drain cover kept moving and the tiles were loss and gross. The pool was huge but there was missing and loose tiles on the side that kept falling off.

I like the historical building. I like that we could walk the area. The bath row was nice to view. My dislike was the hotel is under construction and the power went off. There was a sign posted about the construction. Noting inference to the power outage. All was well within the hotel. Yes, the hotel was clean. They do not get in a hurry about bringing fresh towels. The staff was friendly. We did not eat breakfast or drink from the bar.

The Arlington was a beautiful historic building. The old architecture is stunning. The grand lobby and porches are breathtaking. The staff is very polite and welcoming. The rooms are a bit out of shape but overall it is a fantastic experience! Worth every penny. We will be back.

Historical building under remodeling. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc. No room service available, spa needs a remodeling/refresh asap. A/C is very loud, tiny showers, old and rusty fixtures. The lobby is well maintained, the front desk and valet parking staff are EXCELLENT. On-site restaurant closed after lunch. Outdoor pool is not heated, the hot tub is. Beautiful surroundings.
