I made our booking on Friday night for the following day to stay Saturday night. Saturday morning i was packing when i recieved this text message: Hi Kylie, We do not have a vacancy for your booking today. Cheers Margaret Magnetic Sunsets I understand things happen and if a room is listed in multiple places it could be possible to be double booked but i was extremely dissapointed to find out through such a blunt text message. Firstly i feel the message warranted a phone call to inform us, not a text, and secondly, it could have started with "Im really sorry but unfortunately we dont have a vacancy for your booking". We certainly wont be booking here again

As everyone else has said, Melita was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was really spacious and airy and overlooking horseshoe bay - we had a fantastic stay!

A must stay for Magnetic Island

I highly recommend this place as your choice to stay when at Magnetic Island. The apartment was very spacious, clean and in the best location - right across from the beach. The service was faultless and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Well appointed unit next to beaches and restaurant

I stayed with a couple of friends for an over night stay on Magnetic Island. We were all pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment and how well it was appointed. It is often difficult to find single night accommodation so we were happy that we found it at the Resort. We were also well placed right next to restaurants, the beach and walking trails.

We were greeted by a grunt when we arrived 30 min early prior to check in time even though room was ready . One of the worse reception staff I have ever met . Room was clean and tidy though and good value for money .

Pleasant stay but very noisy at 7am local rubbish pick up then council workers with electric blowers ,so not the place to stay if u like a sleep in .sheets and bedding are of a poor quality and need updating same as towels .2people in a 3brm appartement was roomy .Ask for a change of towels was told to use washing machine in appartement.kitchen needs updating as well as ensuite .

Great spot across the road from beach

We had a smell which we later found was mouldy bread above stove. The glass door to the balcony didn't lock, and the kitchen was covered with tiny ants and we had to keep spraying and wiping it clean to be able to eat in there. When we tried to speak to staff, we found them gone from 6pm to 8:30, and we were gone well before that. Oh the Austar remote had AAA instead of AA so it didn't work either. But without any of that, the location and amenities surrounding it were superb!

A magical location on the beach with a great balcony and views out to the ocean. The host was the nicest lady we have encountered, very friendly and obliging. Highly recommend.
