"Checked out on arrival as the room had no air conditioning and the temperature of the room was at least 45 degrees, we were offered a fan but this would not have helped. The room was also really small, with an unpleasant smell but it was nicely furnished.Requested another room as apparently some rooms do have a.c. (The hallway leading to the room was a pleasant temperature) we were told they were fully booked (although Trivago showed 3 rooms available when we looked for somewhere else)...

"Disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were a little unwelcoming and the service was not great.
A beautiful location but this was let down by terrible parking, poor facilities and attention to detail that wasn’t there!!!!
The spa was poor with an outlook to a wall!!
The room was also disappointing with hair on my pillow and uncomfortable cheap pillows. I was very much looking forward to this stay but was very disappointed."

"Went for wedding, was astonished at the route from hotel foyer to venue, especially with so many people attending.
Found dining room food uninspired and breakfast cool even early."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of food on offer for breakfast. We had an evening meal too which was lovely. We were lucky with the weather so we made use of the outside pool. We visited here as it was my birthday I received a card and shortbread on arrival lovely personal touch thank you."

"The rooms were freezing and when we informed the manager we were told that the heating was broken. It was about 3 degrees outside that night and they didn’t even attempt to give us an electric heater or anything."
