"Wir haben letzte Woche eine Nacht in der Unterkunft am Bach zugebracht. Das Zimmer ist im 50er/60er-Jahre-Stil eingerichtet. Die Zeit scheint hier dtehengeblieben zu sein, zumindest mit den Investitionen. Das Zimmer roch sehr muffig. Die Betten/Bettwäsche waren feucht und musste ausgetauscht werden, da sich alles sehr unangenehm auf der Haut angefühlt hat. Sorry, aber das kann man heute nicht mehr zur Unterkunft anbieten. "Nice pool/spa area. At times it feels lime a maze but the Palace is beautiful. Note that it isn't isolated. You're in a suburban area really, with grocery stores and more affordable restaurants. Great venue for a wedding"

"Troisdorf is a beautiful place and the hotel was very well located in the centre of time, and a very short walk to the train + bus station where you could quickly get to the airport or Köln hbf. The rooms appeared dated aesthetically, however the facilities provided were very clean and sufficed for our short 3 night stay. The staff were kind and spoke English well enough to converse with us about the local area and our stay. Our main issue with our stay was the noise, our room was located on the first floor by the stairwell and near the front of the hotel. During the nights people would scream, run up and down the hall and stairs, slam doors and overall had 0 hotel etiquette. Loud music was playing in a nearby room at midnight and the whole room was vibrating. During the mornings, potentially due to our room being located next to a storage cupboard for towels etc, the staff would be right outside our door talking loudly and slamming the doors at 8-9 o clock in the morning. This all happened on atleast 2 of the 3 nights. The bed was comfy and the price was excellent so can’t complain, but I think hotel management should do better to combat the yobs running around the hotel in the middle of the night screaming."

"Das Kronprinz was everything we would want from a hotel and sensibly priced. Their breakfast, also reasonably priced, offered a very wide selection. The room was spacious and well furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Das Kronprinz is opposite the bus station and only a few minutes from the train station. A 4-minute train ride south takes you to the end of the Bonn tramway system. Cologne central station is about 20 minutes to the north and the airport is only a couple of stops away from Troisdorf. Troisdorf is a pleasant town with a selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants."
