We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. "We only had an overnight stop here, but it was a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and general public areas of the property were all fine. We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. Would definitely stay here again."

"The rooms were 5* as were the reception staff and the shuttle service. But, there was a major issue in the bar. We had a toddler and a 5 year old who were starving at 9pm but had to wait over an hour for food we’d ordered and ages for drinks. Everyone in the bar was complaining. I felt sorry for our waiter who was fighting a losing battle. It was complete chaos and really let the hotel down."

"This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room."

"The hotel is great for a overnight stop over for an early flight or a late flight back from Manchester, great shuttle bus for £8 and you will save triple that on the room, the drinks and restaurant are adequately priced, overall a great place to stay 👍"

"Great hotel for an overnight before early flight. Across the road from Terminal 2. Our room was not huge but it is adequate for a comfortable stay. Tea and coffee facilities, bed was comfortable. Staff were really kind and friendly. There was a queue to check in when we arrived and we waited just a few minutes. Would stay again."
