A lovely and peaceful location. The staff were incredibly hospitable. While the room is basic and shows its age, it was perfectly adequate for the nightly rate. Lot of space to park the car.

Rustic retreat center to make Flam ferry.

This is a rather rustic retreat center, up on a pass on the road between Oslo and Flam. We chose it because it is within range of catching the first ferry in Flam, and it worked quite well for that. The breakfast was solid. The people running the establishment are very nice, and offered some waffles as there was no where nearby to catch dinner at the time of night we got it. Nice drive to and from the location.

Dårlig mottakelse, lite service. Krevde ekstra for tidlig innsjekking. Seig koteletter til kr. 300. Frokost som heller ikke stod til forventningene. Luktet gammelt på rommet og veldig slitt. Hadde håpet det var tilstand i Hallingskarvet.

Fue conveniente por nuestro roadtrip. Muy amables las personas que atendían. Nos encantó el desayuno. Y en general fue “suficiente”. Habitaciones limpias, cómodas, en la ubicación que necesitamos, baño amplio, bufete buenísimo y buen servicio.

Bygget er stort og slitt, og eies av Visjon Norge. Drives av frivillige og hyggelige pensjonister som jobber gratis. Visjon Norge er en organisasjon som støtter Israel og utnytter mange sårbare mennesker. Flagg av Israel flere steder ga oss et sterkt ubehag, og en følelse av og ha blitt lurt til og støtte noe man tar helt avstand fra. Man må ta på sengetøy selv, og alt er av svært enkel standard.

Gammelt og slitt, ikke særlig innbydende, men rent. God frokost, hyggelig personale. Tviler på at vi velger å overnatte her igjen, men greit som et krypinn for natten.

Super koselig betjening og god frokost!

På denne fjellheimen får du koselig og personlig service. I tillegg fikk vi kongelig frokost med alt vi kunne ønske oss av pålegg, røkelaks, yoghurt, et utvalg av juice, egg, kaffe og te. Til den prisen vi betalte var dette rett og slett imponerende! Rommet var enkelt, men stort bad med badekar, gode Jensen madrasser, og litt utsikt mot fjellet. Veldig stille og rolig. Fin overnatting over fjellet mot Bergen.
