Our stay at eKhaya Bush Villa was absolutely impeccable. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding, incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The activities organized by the hotel were excellent, and the food was delicious. One day we wanted to visit a place in town, and they quickly arranged a transfer for us, which made everything so easy. Everything was truly perfect. We even had the unforgettable experience of seeing giraffes up close right inside the lodge’s reserve. I highly recommend eKhaya Bush Villa, it was an extraordinary stay from start to finish.

Excelente!!! Uma casa super luxuosa com seis suítes, quartos luxuosas, camas super confortáveis, funcionárias maravilhosas que cozinham excelentementemente. Fiquei muito surpreendido e satisfeito mesmo. Além disso, fica o eKhaya fica dentro do condomínio que fica ao lado do centrinho onde tem fast food, posto, mercado, etc. A não ser que vá ficar em hotel all-inclusive de passeios tipo o Kapama, é um lugar excelente. Fiquei muito surpreendido ainda mais pelo valor

Great overall stay for one night prior to traveling home to the US. Large rooms with great amenities. Wish they had mosquito nets but did not get any bites during my stay as I had used the provided repellents. Staff was attentive at times but sometimes difficult to ask questions and get recommendations.

Paradise in South Africa/Dream Come True

This place is South Africa's best kept secret. Everything was great and I highly, highly recommend you stay here. I would advise you to forgo, at least in part, the fancy schmancy safari lodges that cost up to $1,000 a night and stay here instead because it's just as nice if not nicer and you get WAY more value for your money and can still book guided safaris from here and see all of the animals your heart desires. What's more, you are near the world's third largest canyon here with a breathtakingly beautiful boat ride. Use eKhaya Bush Villa as your base to then explore both Kruger National Park and the canyon area. My individual experience: To put it mildly, my trip to both Cape Town and Johannesburg did not go well. I had intended to stay at eKhaya Bush Villa two nights but stayed four instead because it became my oasis of tranquility and beauty. I don't know how old the place is but everything looks BRAND NEW. Claire, the owner, is a hospitality goddess. Truly. Hearing of my unpleasant experiences, she bent over backwards to make me feel at home and she helped me salvage my vacation (my experiences in Cape Town and Johannesburg were so bad I was thinking of flying home to the U.S. early). I am a HUGE fan of Claire and eKhaya and you will be too. The rooms are very spacious, the beds very comfortable, the bathrooms very large, the grounds are beautiful, the food is good and the staff friendly and helpful. AND it's in a secured estate so you are 100% safe. Don't miss it!

Great service from the staff. Modern villa. Beds and Bathroom (shower) were perfect. Our main reason for the stay was a place to sleep while visiting Kruger National Park and we lost some time to get there compared to staying in the park but luxury and comfort wise this Villa outranks anything in Kruger Park

מקום מאובטח ברמה גבוהה, בעלת המקום מקסימה ומקבלת את פני האורחים בצורה מושלמת. אפילו עזרה לנו בתכנון מסלולי טיול באיזור והמליצה על מסעדות. שדרגה אותנו לסוויטת ירח הדבש וגם האוכל במלון היה מדהים! ללא ספק נחזור לשם בעתיד!!

eKhaya home away from home

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 nights stay at eKhaya. The place is very well done and thought of. The ladies were delightful and courteous, always ready to help. Mike definitely knows his stuff in the area, and gave us great advice on which tours to take. And were very lucky enough to see a lot. So happy with everything. Hoping to come back and bring some friends.

Was surprised this was a full-on B&B, with all the rooms communal style in one house. This should be made clear in the listing as not everyone likes the B&B template. Very nice new house with outstanding staff. Somewhat pricey with some noise issues.

Ótima base para conhecer o Kruger

Hotel muito bom para usar como base para conhecer o Kruger. Fica a 45min do Orpen Gate e dentro de uma mini reserva onde você pode passear com o seu próprio carro e ver girafas e zebras. O atendimento é simplesmente fantástico! Ficamos na suíte de lua de mel (já que era a nossa) e ela é maravilhosa. A varanda abre para os fundos do hotel que é essa mini reserva e o banheiro possui duas janelas de vidro no teto que permitem que você tome banho de banheira vendo as estrelas no céu. Café da manhã incluso era muito bom e o jantar que pagamos por fora era excelente também. Eles possuem um honesty bar onde você pode pegar vinho, cerveja ou qlqr outra coisa da geladeira e anotar em um caderninho para pagar depois. Achei os preços bem justos comparados ao desses produtos no mercado. O único ponto negativo foi que me ofereceram alguns passeios quando fiz a reserva e depois, na hora de pagar, me avisaram que a tabela de preços que me mostraram estava defasada e os preços tinham subido. Fiquei chateado porque tinham subido quase 2x!! Sugiro perguntar qual a vigência da tabela antes de reservar e confirmar o preço no dia do passeio. Fora esse problema, foi tudo simplesmente perfeito!

Average Hotel

I was assigned a room on the ground floor and could hear the guests from the room upstairs. Creaking wooden floorboards from their footsteps and their conversation could be heard loud and clear. Breakfast and dinner was relatively good.

Hospedar-se no eKhaya, expressa realmente a tradução da palavra que dá nome ao estabelecimento - sentir-se em casa. Michel o proprietário e seu staff foram maravilhosos em nos atender e proporcionar a melhor estadia possível. Bom preço, funcionárias simpáticas.

Muito confortável, limpo e ótimo preço pela hospedagem. Mas os valores cobrados pelo transfer, janta e pelos passeios sao bem elevados. Podia ter tv no quarto, mas não tem. Reservei um quarto com chuveiro, mas me Colocaram num quarto q só tinha banheira.

Best lodge in Hoedspruit. Best hotel ever!

This is by far THE BEST HOTEL I've ever stayed at and easily the BEST LODGE IN HOEDSPRUIT!!!! The owner of this lodge, Suzette, told me as soon as I arrived that I am now part of the family here and that I would leave a changed person. I can honestly say after my stay here that I feel like I'm a part of the family at this lodge. The place is very comfortable and clean, and gives off a vibe like you are at home. The food here is AMAZING! Everything was freshly cooked and made with love. However, the absolute best thing about this lodge are the people who run it. Suzette, Uncle Tom, and Mike really made me feel welcome like no other accommodation ever has before. They bent over backwards to make my stay as pleasant as possible. They truly were...like family. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My 4 nights at this lodge was the highlight of my trip to South Africa. Only thing I could recommend is that the wifi be faster.
