We stayed in Room 18 which is a standard twin room with a queen and a twin bed. One had to take the small elevator to the 2nd floor then walk down half a level using the stairs. Our room was facing the harbor but a tree blocked the view. The street lights from the pier shines into the room but the hotel has black out curtains. We loved the free breakfast from their restaurant which included your choice of entrée and drink from the standard breakfast menu. If you have an early tour departure, the reception gave out a to-go breakfast box of cereal, milk, oj, and breakfast bar. Housekeeping came every day to empty the trash, make the beds, and replenished the toiletries. We love the location of this historic hotel as it is close to everything, including day tour pick up points (usually across the street at Brooke St. Pier bus stop). There is a bit of street noise during the weekend when people drive on the main street at night. We stayed a total of 5 days and would stay here again when visiting Hobart.
