"The hotel itself is very nice, but getting there is somewhat harrowing. The entry is a crazy, almost straight down drop! Kind of scary, but not nearly as frightening as getting back out. Fortunately the street at the entry is not busy. After not driving a manual transmission for several years, I stalled it out once! If you aren't going in and out a lot (or not driving yourself), it is a wonderful affordable place."

"I booked a ground floor room, with kitchen. Such a good choice, we bought food from Carrefour and eat it during our week long stay. The huge window view from the garden was to die for. Clean big room, with AC, free parking, good pool. I will come back to this hotel!"

There was a distinct shortage of electrical outlets and those they did have were behind furniture or not in front of a table or desk so devices had to sit on the ground when charging. "The photos on the web site make these rooms look a tad bigger than what they are. These would be great for a student or a traveler with not too much luggage. We of course had two weeks worth of luggage (gotta bring snorkel gear, booze, etc), and after an 8 hour flight my wife was not having it. Staff was great in setting us up with an available hotel room (for a bit more money of course) which was very nice. Our room had a small kitchen area with a stove! "Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. When we asked the front desk for dining suggestions they said to use Google...

"This place is in a great location, walking distance to the market and ferry. It’s a little tricky to find and not a typical hotel. There are 4 or 5 large rooms/ units with large beds, large bathroom and small kitchenette. The staff was friendly and helpful"

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."
