Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. "Very good stay. Very nice well appointed room. Couple of small points. For breakfast the cooked food was excellent but thought there could be a bit more in the buffet e.g. fruit/pastries. Also our room was right above the out of hours entrance so there can be some noise from people returning late plus deliveries take place right outside the room so we had the pleasure of a noisy beer delivery around 7am. We ate in the restaurant one night and food and service were very good."

"Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁"
