"Very comfortable room & bed.
Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room.
Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside."

"If you are looking for the best of what a traditional British guesthouse should be, look no further.
The room and communal areas are spotless. The towels and linen are fresh and look New. Building is well 19. The refreshments in the room could be no better, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Then we come to breakfast. Perfection.
And to top it all exceptionally good value. ospotless"
