Up above Hilton with a balcony overlooking a waterfall/natural area. Beautiful room. Comfortable. Not too far from shops and restaurants.

Secluded quiet bush experience

I wanted a secluded retreat to get some peace. This is the perfect location to relax and unwind. Nobody bothered me, the owner/manager went out of her way to accommodate me over and above what was expected. Even booking a fabulous Thai massage for me. I even got some free advice on life which I really needed.

I booked a room for my daughter to spend with her baby on her first birthday. I was away in the UK and asked the lodge if they would be able to put roses and champagne etc. in the room. And leave a birthday message from me. Lisa provided it all and made it so special for them. And had balloons and cupcakes with candles at the breakfast table. I’m so thankful to her! She went above and beyond what I expected. My daughter said it was the perfect setting to spend her daughter’s first birthday. And although they were only there for 2 nights, she felt so rejuvenated. And the meals were excellent! And the staff were so welcoming. Thank you Hilton Bush Lodge!

The lodge needs to be upfront about the power cuts and dirt road, there were differences from the website and the reality.

Excellent property. Horrible Staff. The person that checked us in was so condescending and disrespectful. It’s as if we were homeless people begging for accommodation. No body deserves this type of treatment.

The room was new and well furnished and had lovely views. The linen was excellent and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. However, there was no hot water and there was no-one able to fix the problem ; the swimming pool is under construction and was full of muddy water; the roads were covered in thick mud in places, there was no paving in the pool area; there was lack of ventilation in the room as we were nervous to leave the sliding door open at night. The place will be nice but it has opened way too early and before it has been completed.

Good venue, safe, clean etc... Neg. Noisey!! So much noise comes from the other rooms, walls so thin and floors carry the noise badly. Poor design/layout, made for a terrible nights sleep in whats supposed to be a peaceful venue. Please don't think the noise comes from bad behaviour or loud neighbors, just turning off the light in the room next door is like a herd of elephants.

Comfortable clean neat and tidy. The only problem is that you apparently need to let them know before 13 midday that you want to have dinner there or not. Surely this should be advertised on the website? Also, if you want a cold beer after a long day, please have cash with you. They apparently were not accepting credit cards.

Hidden Gem

This was my second stay at Hilton Bush Lodge. I will always stay here when doing business in Hilton. The views are spectacular (you can even see a waterfall). Extras with the coffee add a cute touch. The service is exceptional and the rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless.

Amazing view, very nice room. Only inconvenience is the heater wasnt working and it got a bit cold No wifi in the rooms so not the best when travelling for business but other than that i had a very pleasent stay

The perfect escape

The Hilton Lodge is the perfect escape if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break. There is very little to do there, with a lack of any entertainment or a restaurant you can find yourself quite restrained occasionally. There is also no WiFi in the rooms and no hike to the waterfall as advertised. Nonetheless the rooms were pleasant and the landscapes were beautiful.
