"The hotel is very nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed twice. The parking is marked but can be tricky to find at night."
"My husband and I were on our honeymoon. And with the hurricane we couldn’t go to our original destination. So we just randomly picked a hotel. We picked it because of the Mountain View and we are so happy we did. The staff were very nice. It was quiet and safe. Everything worked properly. There is a back patio with a fire on it at night. It was very beautiful. Many different places to eat and shop very close by. We didn’t want to leave!!"
"It was a unique hotel experience because of the railroad station setting and its careful architectural restoration. So many beautiful things to see and marvel at, always a feast for the eyes - wonderful preservation of the steam train era in early to mid 20th century history. Every member of the staff we had contact with was not only friendly and helpful, but also reflected appreciation of this unique environment."
"The nicest staff across the midwest makes up for the average continental breakfast at this edge of town hotel. I appreciated the spacious and well lit hallways with clean tile floors! I didn't use the indoor pool but I saw families enjoying it through the windows on my way to the tavern for great dinner deals. Turned out there was ooptional entertainment that brought in a bit of a crowd downstairs on each of my three day stay but the only sound on the second floor was the minifridge in my room!"
