Great team and location

Manager and staff are very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years. It’s close to central Hillerod by foot where you can find the Toyal summer palace and a few great restaurants. Highly recommend

We stayed one night. We got in late, so the hotel manager knew who we were the minute we walked in. Our room was right down the hall. The hallway to the rooms is interior open space with nice decorations, and our room was right there, very fun classy entryway. Everything was just so neat and precise. It was perfect for getting settled in. The breakfast was beyond anything you ever get in the US. Really exceptional! And any staff we spoke with was polite and friendly and helpful. Top to bottom this is an excellent hotel. 5 Stars no hesitation.

Innovatively designed hotel situated in a quiet area with a nice dining room for eating in, and good breakfast. On the negative side, the bed lamps are ineffective with a very small bulb pointing upwards that could not be adjusted without risk of damage. I would prefer to see dedicated recycling bins in the rooms instead of an instruction to place recyclable items on the table, which I suspect may not be followed by everyone. The beds seem pretty old and would benefit from an upgrade. It would be good to have more plants in the corridor, as I believe there were in the past.

There is NOTHING to eat or drink at this hotel from 10 am until 5:30 pm. No cafe, room service or even a vending machine. The only liquid to drink is water from the sink. No microwave or refrigerator in rooms. We arrived hungry and thirsty and were miserable until the over-priced restaurant opened at 5:30 pm. If you don't have car or don't call a taxi, you will go hungry and thirsty.

This is an older hotel under the Best Western brand, and its dated quality extends to the attitudes of its staff. On a sunny day, the room gets very warm. Since the building is probably well insulated, it stays that way. There's no air conditioning, and when I went downstairs to ask for a fan, I was told they were all out. So I was stuck sleeping with the windows flung wide open, but no real change in temperature. There's also no vending machines, and their restaurant closes early. I asked the elderly woman at the reception desk if I could please have some ice water. She obliged, nicely enough. I went downstairs a couple hours later and made the same request to the gentleman who replaced her on a new shift. He asked if the previous woman had charged me. I said "no". He said he'll see what he could do. He came back with some ice water, but before handing it to me, made sure I understood that this was the last free one I would get, and he'd have to charge me from now on. I stayed in my room the rest of the night, and vowed never to stay at this hotel again when I'm in Denmark.
These rooms can get unpleasantly warm on sunny days.
Interesting way to fold the shower doors to maximize bathroom floor space.

Personal ist freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad, der Teppich und die Betten sind schlecht. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Das Restaurant bietet Fine Dining an für horrende Preise, jedoch sind die Zimmer hingegen low Budget. Im Zimmer war nicht einmal ein Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück war gut. Es gab einiges zur Auswahl. Jedoch keine Abwechslung. Jeden Tag das Gleiche.

Mysigt boende för hela familjen. Ett plus att det fanns en uteplats så man hade möjlighet att sitta utanför. Jättebra service och bemätande med trevlig personal. Frukosten var till fullaste belåtenhet. Minus att det inte fanns ac på rummet och kuddarna var hårda.

Fint ophold - nemt og hurtigt

Vi havde et fint ophold på en enkelt nat - værelset var dog rigtigt varmt og ingen mørklægningsgardiner gjorde at børnene havde svært ved at sove. Nogle af lamperne på værelset virkede ikke. Morgenmaden var virkeligt lækker.
